im most likely swapping my stock 18s for stock 19s from an 06... he has 225, 245 tires on them now

can they go wider or do i hav to stick to stock sizes? was kinda hoping for wider tires like 245/275

also... we're doing a straight swap, no cash, his have a lot of rash on 2 of the rims.. worth it?

 

Some people are running those sizes, but a lot of people say it's unsafe to.

 

I want to know too. Is it safe to run with 245/275 on OEM 19?

 

245 front yes im doing that and its great

275 rear no not safe at all

go with 255 rear

 

255/40/19 ???? in rear???
245/35/19 in rear??

I was told 245/35/19 Front and 255/40/19 Rear works, I have that setup now and everything is in good shape except I'm concern with my rears looking crooked...I think it may be the guys who installed it did something...dunno...all I know is that my rears look like this ----> / \

Of course, not that extreme but you get the idea.
