staggering

i know you cant stagger the x so i will probally answer my own question. but i was curious if there was a tolerance before the computer knows the differnece in height. if the rear tire is .02 taller would that throw it off. or does it go by the weight difference

Not sure, but perhaps traction plays a part with the AWD as well as diameter differences. I'm going to run same width all around FWIW.

BTW, how much drop from the Tiens? Alignment OK? Ride harsher? (Forgive the minor hi-jack...)

Is the same true of non-x models? I have an 05 sedan that I bought winter tires for that are 225 front, 245 rear (from a 350z)... ...am I going to run into any issues?

I don't know about the G35x but usually with all AWD systems as long as you have the same series tires on all 4 wheels the same you will not run into any problems.
