I am trying to decide between Bridgestone RE960 Pole Position or Yokohama AVID V4S. This is for Sedan and I am looking at 225/50/17. I am CA, so snow isn't an issue.
So it terms of handling/noise how would these compare? I know 960s are Ultra High performance and Yokohamas are High Performance only.

I have gone with Bridgestone RE960 Pole Position 225/50/17. Would update later with my feedback. For starters, its a QUIET tier... Car is pulling to the right a bit, but that could be because the new tiers may not have broken in yet (alignment is fine).

I'd vote for the Bridgestones. I just bought a set and so far so good. I've tried several Yoko's. They are okay but don't last long, usually get loud with time.

good call on the Bridgestone's, they're a great all season High Performance tire. I had them on my 20's and went through a canyon run on em, they never let go of the road once.
