Brake Dust

I've been wondering why ppl are so concerned with it...
does it get in the car of what?
what the hell is it?

It used up pad material. It is semi toxic. It makes your rims look like $hit...like you don't bother to wash your G. If you get a really nice set of rims,the brake dust can eat the finish off. It will do this on the factory rim's clearcoat...well really on any rim with a clearcoat. Chrome rims can be affected really quickly,the brake dust eats at the chrome plating and causes it to flake-gold looking cracks are the first sign that this has taken place. If you are worries use some Eagle1 AtoZ to clear your rims. Easy product to use and it will keep you lookin' good.

Plus, you really need to use a clearcoat wheel wax on your rims like Mother's clearcoat wheel polish or something simmilar. It will protect them and keep the dust from sticking to the rims as much. Makes cleanup easier.
