Winter Steel Rims

Anyone ever go through a winter with the Steelies?
I know they don't look pretty, but just wondering if this would be an option for my 06 Coupe (non-Brembo).

I was at Steelcase Tires n Mags in Markham last week looking for winter rims. They seem pretty knowledgeable and indicated that steelies would work with my '07 (non-Brembo) so I'm guessing they'd be ok for the '06 as well. But imo, spending an extra $150-200 on a set of alloy rims is well worth it.

i was on steelies last winter...and they seemed find other than the fact they looked ugly...lol...but you should be fine with 17inch steelies with 225/55/17 tires

I actually like them. It is kind of battle cruiser/stealth bomber look , especially if car is lowered and they tuck in. I'd rather have them than some cheap "FRD" or "Fast" branded wheels
