06 Coupe OEM 19'' wheels/tires

I'm at 19500 and seems like my front/rear OEM tires are near bald. I don't think could I stick my nail in the tread anymore...

Any recommendations for all seasons/winter tires for an 06 coupe Sports Package (19'' rims)???
I'd like to stay under 900 (including installation)

-D

They may not satisfy tire snobs, but the Kuhmo Ecsta ASX is a pretty great performance all season tire. I am a recovering BMW-phile and hung around this place called Bimmers-R-Us in St. Louis. The owner has numerous BMW's but his daily driver was an '02 M5 with a full Dinan S2 package. He took me and my Dad for a ride one winter morning and I was amazed at how much grip those tires had on a cold February morning. His car was pumping our 500+ HP and I figured if they were good enough for that car, then they were pretty good.

I want good all season maybe winter tires which have good wear and traction. I don't want to spend more than 200/tire

225 40 19 (front)
245 40 19 (rear)

Just go here www.discounttiredirect.com and save $100 off a set of 4 +no Shipping fee and no Tax. Today I just ordered 4 Falken 452 225/45/18 245/45/18 out the door for $484 shipped. I ordered this morning and there already in progress to me. Youll have to pay $20 per tire+tax to have them installed unless you know someone. Make sure to ask about TPMS depending where you go to have them mounted and balanced, but it should not cost extra. Let us know which ones you went with.

My wheels are 19's...they only come up with:

Continental ContiSportContact $271

Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 $337

Thats freakin expensive and only two tires supporting that ratio, ****t??DOMO

I want solid tires for all season, i don't wanna pay more than 200-225/tire is this possible? I know I'm being a Jew at heart, but come on seriously man?

Try putting in a different size tire. The tires that come up are the matching set, but tires have a wide fitment range. The 225's you have up front can fit anywhere from a 7 1/2' to a 9" wheel. I'm not sure how much it snows in VA, but maybe you should think about getting a cheaper set of wheels and either mounting all-seasons or snow tires on them. That way you don't subject your nice 19" ones to the road salt in winter. Plus...a set of 17' wheels will have better selection (read: cheaper) of tires. I think Discount also has the same promo going on for wheels too. That means $200 off a set of wheels and tires mounted and balanced with free shipping. To bad I just bought a set of wheels last week! Good luck!

I'm looking at them Michelin Pilot Sports, and the best price I've found for the front 225/40/19 is $302/each, and the rear 245/40/19 is $263/each...and the PS2s are a few dollars cheaper...

How did you save $100? Is that a special deal they have going on now? I didn't see anything on the site.
