Car is shakin with me new GT3s HELP

I sold my 19 OEMs and bout some 18'' SSR GT3s. 265 in the rear 245 in the front.

The car is shakin at 40+ and when I brake it vibrates a whole lot. I figured I just needed a balance but I have a shop tell me that its cuz my rear tires are bald.

Any ideas on what my issue may be?

even a small dent can cause that, i had a bent rim on my civic and loking at the rims they looked perfect, but after like 80mph it got pretty shaky, and it wasnt the tires, but yeah hopefully its not that

how old are your tires?

The SSR GT3s had em and they wouldnt sit right on my coupe (05) He had an 04 and it felt fine on his car with the hubcentric rings. So I doubt its a dent. A shop told me the rear tires are too bald. I dont know what it is. I just want to get em balanced.

yea its either centric hub rings or a diesel size bubble in the tire (which you said is imposssible bc of the baldness of the tire) unbalanced rims wont shake at 40mph usually around 50-60+

Do u think I should place the rings back on? I mean everyine is tellin me that its due to the baldness? He was running smooth with the wheels and he had the rings on. He also has an 04. My rotors has an extra bolt for who knows what and it wouldnt sit right. So we popped off the rings. I dont know what 2 do

yea it's your hub rings...why would you take them off? 04 and 05 are both 66.1 so they should fit...I just read one of your posts and you're supposed to remove

that nipple/bolt on your hub...it's there so you don't place rear oem rims on the front if i remember correctly...
