SSR Wheels

Here is my problem!

I want 19" SSR Type C-RS black wheels
-The C-RS in black only runs 17 and 18".

SSR carries an Anthracite color 19" C-RS.
From what i can see, Anthracite is similar to a deep gray color.

Would this still look good on my Black Obsidian coupe?

My OEM's are 17" right now. I wanted a nice decent upgrade and don't think the 18" will be what i am looking for.

I am new to looking in to wheels. If someone can help me out, that would be awesome!

Will the Anthracite color still appear to be very dark next to my OB?
Or should i get the 18" Type C-RS in black and not worry about " 1" ?"

I know that one picture is Type C-RS and one is Type C The website didnt have a picture of the C-RS in black for some reason.

Thanks.

WHOA, for some reason I thought SSR was out of business (or not in production). Guess I was wrong.

They look pretty good, should be ok with the OB. Do you have a backup choice, another brand?

either one will look good, as long as you can actually get them. I'm assuming you're trying to order them from tirerack? They're the only place i know that still has any SSR wheels and they are in limited quantity due to SSR stopping production on their wheels.

Definitely go for the 19's. Anthracite looks awesome...prob better than that particular black anyways..

Either would look good, I'd probably go with the 18's and some real meaty tires.

The stock that tirerack.com is what's left from SSR USA. It's kind of confusing when you research the two. It seems like the wheels sold by tirerack.com aren't the same wheels sold in Japan, even though both are under he SSR name.

This is their official importer, http://www.more-japan.com/. I would get in contact with www.gruppe-s.com as well, I was able to get a decent price on a set of 19" SP1s.

sorry man, looking for the type C-RS in black or anthracite. Nice wheels though. What are your numbers with your Procharger if you dont mind me asking? Roughly how much $ have you put into doing that. PM me if you like. Thanks.

19" all the way. anthracite is still dark, and will make your car look unique from other ob. besides, 19">18".

thanks man. i put down 335whp and 306lb tq. that was after my car was warmed up though. the reason we did that is because the car is gonna be that hot when you run somebody on the interstate. i also have the stock pully and only boosting at 7psi. i should be good once i get my smaller pulley exhaust and plenum spacer and clutch/flywheel. i put about 6500 into it so far. bought the procharger from my friend for 4500. and the 6500 is includeing my tune.

Remember, 6 months from now when you hit that 4 by 4 laying in the road that, with the wheels out of production, you may have to replace all four with someting else.

Slap me for reviving such an old thread, but what did you end up getting. I've got the 19" SSR Type C RS anthracite wheels on the way and I'm pretty excited. I've got an OB with a CF hood, so I'm figuring the wheels will match the hood well. We shall see
