Same size tires all around?

Ok, nobody responded to my first thread so i will rephrase my question. Can i run the same size tires on all four wheels? I am considering a set of snow tires 225/40-R18 92V for 18" OEM wheels. They are all the same size. I know stock OEM tires are wider in the back than the front (245/45 v 225.45). Just wondering if this will work, and if it does, any drawbacks. Any feedback would be great appreciated!!!

It works for some people while it causes problems with VDC for others. Either way, 225/40/18 is too short to run on the front or the rear

Why not.....

I don't live in a cold climate but why not use 245's on all four corners that
way the tire height will be the same as your summer tires. Plus, you won't
have issues with error codes.....245's will work in front without problems!

225's should work fine.

you dont want wider tires in snow. you want to go as narrow as possible.

and with the same size all around some people have vdc issues, some don't. the computer has a 3% margin of change it accepts in the stagger. so you're right on the edge. but most likely you won't have any problems. most likely just in a long sweeping turn, thats where most have little vdc quirks..
