winter setup

i need to get a set of winter wheels and tires and need some info on the size, etc.

i have an '07 g35 coupe with the 19" factory wheels and tires.

i want to get 17" wheels...what is the correct size and offset for both front and rear?

i saw at the tire rack that the TPMS sensors are $247 for a set of 4. can i make do without them as i don't want to spend too much $$$.

Thanks!

No need for the tpms sensors, only 1 set can be programmed to the car at a time, so if you get the ones in your winter wheels programmed to your car, your stock ones will stop functioning. Just live with the light in the winter months. As for wheel sizes, go with anywhere from a 17x7.0-7.5-8.0 front and rear. As for offsets, you want something in the low 30's to mid 20's.
