Can I use these tires

I have an appt with a Infiniti dealer to get a set of Toyo T1R tires. They are available in the stock size for my car 225/40/19 and 245/40/19. BTW anyone else in MA interested Prime Infiniti is selling these tires on special installed for $1,099. I think that's a pretty good price.

But anyway I was wondering is it possilbe to go to 35 on the aspect ratio?

Would I have any problems running Toyo Proxes 4 tires in this size
225/35 ZR19
245/35 ZR19

I'm guessing the speedometer might be off by a bit, but any other problems with this setup? Anyone else with them? I'd rather have an all season.

BTW I thought the rims looked great when I bought this car, but the choice of tires sucks.

nope, none at all. I'm not sure if the speedo is off or not, the setup was installed at the dealership. They might have readjusted the speedo calibration.

Just out of curiosity what did you pay for the tires? How's the tread wear?

The dealership put on the rims and tires when they infiniti certified the car. I asked for a printout of all past work on the car and they listed the price of the complete set for $2400 which included the black XIX rims.

I recently got a nail in my 275-35ZR19 and had to replace the whole tire. Big-O and Discount wanted somewhere near 350 out the door with certificate. Infiniti wanted 275 without certificate. I ended up buying it at Infiniti and spending 37 bucks at Big-O for a certificate. Figuring this price (and I'll guess 250 for the front? 32 for those certs) you are looking at $1188 at infiniti/Big O before taxes.

*Edit* And only $1050 is taxed, they shouldn't tax the certs, assuming you do buy them.

*Edit^2* Not sure on the tread wear on them yet, I've only had the car for 2,000 miles
