Coupe Tire Rotation

i have directional tires on my coupe so I can't rotate them. instead, i'm thinking of swapping them side to side just to even out the wear.

for the folks who have done this, particularly in Socal, how much did it cost? a guy quoted me a rate a few days ago which seemed pretty silly for demounting/mounting/rebalancing a set of wheels. thanks!

Just shop around I've been quoted up to a bit over 100 bucks for it. I never ended up doing it. I got an alignment instead.

To properly rotate directionals you must demount and flip them on wheels each time!

^ cool, thats exactly what i'm talking about

anyway, decided not to swap sides. I had the wheels off today while lowering the coupe and there is little sign of one-sided wear or feathering. I'll probably get them swapped after another few thousand miles.

Once you wait and let heel toe feathering start IT IS TOO LATE to correct it!
Since you cannot reverse the directional tire to wear the high spots back down.
