Need help regarding my iForged wheels and the seal for the hub...
Im not sure what its called but basically i am talking about the little plastic circle that fits on the wheel hub or u can directly put it on the wheel from the back itself. Its plastic and looks like a seal. My iForged came with 4 of these but only 2 of them fit and it was perfect. This winter I took the wheels off and got them powdercoated. Today I went to put them on and for some reason this plastic thing fit perfectly on the wheel but the wheel wouldnt sit flush on the hub. For some reason it doesnt fit anymore and on top of that i dont remember weather it was for the fronts or rears, but it doesnt fit on any of them. My question is what can happen without these things installed and does anyone have any idea why this is happening?

Whats can happen without them on. I am gonna put them on anyway, but instead of taking off the wheels two times I will just wait for my spacers to come in and do it all at once. Is it ok to drive with them like this? Also, are these gonna fit on the spacers as well or are they not needed once the spacers come on?

Rookie, sorry but I dont get your question. Whats the pad of the wheel. Everything on the wheel got powdercoated except for the lips. Behind the center cap is powdercoated. But what I dont understand is why the hub ring fits on the back of the wheel and it fits on the hub of the car as well. But when we tried to install the wheel it just wouldnt sit right so he just took it off. Mayb he had to apply preassure and he didnt. As long as its nothing im finw with it but i will try to install them again when i put the spacers on. Just wanna know what it can be/.

I got different rings from discount tire that snap into the wheel and have a fit more sizes so they would still clear after the powdercoat.
These just help your wheel sit perfectly in the center of the hub for better balance. You are fine without them but may have a little more vibration.

I would say hubcentric rings are NECESSARY. I ran wheels without them on, and had severe vibration at 60+ mph. Keep in mind, without the hubcentric rings, the wheels are pretty much stressing load at the lugs and studs. With the rings, the wheels can stress its load on the hub itself, and let the lugs and studs keep the wheels in place onto the hub.
First, make sure the rings are for the correct wheel bore size that corresponds to your hub size. Assuming the rings are of the correct size, mallet the rings into the wheel and make sure it sits evenly. Sometimes the rings are of smaller size just minimally and vice versa for the wheel bore, so when the rings are compressed onto your hub and wheel, it fits perfectly. My volks came with soft aluminum rings and where about a tad bit smaller and had a concaved end. Once I mounted the wheels with the rings, it wouldn't budge until I torqued all my studs down. When I take my wheels off, the rings comes off the wheel and sits on my hub (damn pain to take that **** off).
I ordered Gorilla plastic rings for my Blitz wheels awhile back... although they were of correct size, it didn't sit onto my hub perfectly as I had slight vibration at 60+ mph. With different rings that were a tad bit smaller, the vibration went away.
