TPMS Sensor info, tech stuff

I was trying to see how our tmps sensors work, and to see if they actually work banded to a rims. Cuz i know people with after market rims have done it. And im getting rims and wondering if they worked.

I thought it might have to do something with pressure against the valve. Anyways looked online for the patent, couldn't find it but did find somestuff on it at FCC's website, awesome stuff if you have the FCC ID for something

mostly technical babble but from what i can gather it looks like these should actually work regardless of where they are in the wheel.
