Pros and Cons of Spacer Usage

What are the pros and cons of spacer usage? Are there any? Or does it really not matter?

Thanks for the reply.

Is there a way to determine in advance what size spacer you need? Or is that something determined when you get your wheels on ... or attempt to get your wheels on.

Depends on what you are using them for. If you have the wheels and you are trying to get them to be flush with the fenders, then you can simply take a metric ruler and measure out to the fender to get a rough idea of what size is needed. If you list your wheel specs(offset, width, tire size) then we can give you a good idea of what size spacers you would need to achieve the look you are going for. If its for caliper clearance, then many bbk manufactures have a printable fitment guide you cut out and check on the wheels, then you can figure out what sized spacer would work

I am running 15mm H&R spacers front and rear with my Iforged wheels to clear my GREX BBK. I had my rear wheel bearings go out on me, which caused a pulsating noise and vibration. I replaced them which cost me around $300 in parts. A friend and I did the labor, but I did get an estimate of about $350 for labor from a shop.
