ASA JH8's, few questions

Hey guys,

I am most likely going to buy a set of 18in ASA JH8's.

I am planning on using 225/45/18 tires; is 225 too narrow for this wheel? I am worried becasue the wheels are 18 x 8.5, but tirerack recommends 225/45/18. The circumference between these rims and my stock rims (205/65/16) is only a little different (speedometer will read about 2% higher with the new wheels on), so the only thing I am worried about is the tire width.

Also, does anyone have any pictures of these wheels on stock ride height sedans?

Thanks!

Here's a pic of what I'm looking at:

A 225 is fine on an 8.5" wheel. Nobody on this forum has those on their car.

Thanks for the response. Do people not like them, or do they just look bad in a stock ride height sedan?
