I put a new set of rims and tires on my '06, but didn't use the TPMS. Everytime I start the car, the light flashes for a few seconds and then stays on. No big deal.

MIne only comes on after about 45 miles of steady highway driving, then it stays on until I stop and start the car again. Other than that, it never comes on.

Something must have changed in the system between '05 and '06.

Just so I am clear on this. I just ordered new wheels and have my OEM's hopefully sold with the sensors. I check my tires all the time and don't care that it won't have it anymore BUT I think the little light will drive me nuts. Is anybody running NO TPS on an 03-04? Does the light stay on? My light is the same as some of the others as it is, after 40-45 min the stupid thing comes on anyway but goes away once you torn the car off then on again. Thanks guys.

Me failed English? That's unpossible!
Don't sensors have to be "synced up" with the receiver in the car? Meaning, your sensors on the stock wheels are synced up with your car right now. I thought the car receiver would need to be reset if new (or different) sensors are used. Is this true? That would mean additional cost to reset them during winter/summer swaps (if the dealer charges for the reset).
