Work Varianza T1S - Forged or Cast?

...and, does anyone have a matrix that will allow me to see the weights of the different sizes of this particular rim? Torn between 19x9.5/10.5 and 20x9.5/10.5 and Work's website sucks it.

Thanks folks...

No weight matrix that I'm aware of. I know there's a size and offset table.

Yup, I've seen that somewhere. I'm just trying to see how the 19s/20s compare in weight to the stock 18s. Pretty much the only way I'm going to make a final decision.

Thanks for any inputs...

They aren't up on wheelweights.net. They are 2 piece cast wheels.

Questions about Works Wheels.....?

If you have questions about Works wheels give Chris a call at F1 Motorsports.
Here's something to consider, the larger diameter the heavier they become.
Performance wise I wouldn't buy anything larger than 19s, then consider the
cost of the tires. 20s are more costly and they don't last, poor mileage.

Thanks for the input, gary. I've researched the drawbacks to 20s and am trying to convince myself to get the 19s, but everytime I see this rim in a 20" I want it NOW

Anyone have a picture of this rim in a 19" to lure me away from the 20" demon?

Are you going to track your car in these wheels? If not who cares about a little performance loss, you'll be stylin'! These are in my top 5 wheels to get, and I know I'm going with 20s.

its a 2 piece wheel. Forged barrel, cast center and weighs almost 30 lbs in 20s (according to box)

Nope, no tracking. Still, I'm not exactly interested in a decrease in acceleration, braking performance, a rougher ride, more road noise, poor tire life, and an even shiitier gas mileage than I already get! (Or so that's what I've learned from reading this forum.)

But you're right...they look freakin' nice...

(Dammit.)

Good info, thanks man. I guess I should ask you...what is your pro/con experience with adding these to your car (besides looking SICK)....I appreciate any input you can give.

20s rides like the 19s but feels a bit heavier, road noise really depends on tires/tire wear and gas mileage...no clue/no care, car gets crappy mpg anyways. But they do look good

To clarify, only the centers are cast,

I would check on the barrels, just googling I found

30lbs for a 20" wheel is not that light, possibly spun cast barrels like the VS-XXs.
