Tire Question

Hey yall I got a question for you. I own a 04 sedan and wanting 18x8.5 on the front and 18x9.5 on the rear. But the real question is does a 225/40r18 and a 245/40r18 sound right? They say the 245 has a approve rim width for a 9.5. So i need help thank you

it would fit but may look a little funny. I would go with a 255-275 in the rear. It would fill the rim more

That set up would have a taller sidewall on the rear than on the front (both 40 series but its a ratio of tire width, therefore the rears with the same 40 series but being wider would have a taller side wall). I would go with a wider tire on a 9.5" rim like a 255-275. You need to check and see what other sidewall height options there are with that width tire.
