Wheel clearance limits on sedan?

Can anyone here tell me the maximum amount a wheel can be moved inward and outward before rubbing? i realize tire width will affect this distance, so lets say i am using this site:

for "answers" to movement.
now i am looking for clearance distance, not wheel width, offset variables, etc. answers. just distance. regardless if it is the rim or tire rubbing as one might run narrow tires on a wheel leaving the rim as the widest part, etc.

also, how many here have rolled their fenders and how much space might you speculate is gained from this?

At the top of the forum, there is a wheel fitment chart. That chart is in mm/cm. If you print it out, you can measure exactly how much room you have to move the wheel in or out in a variety of sizes, and you can determine other sizes not mentioned by adding and subtracting mm. (Offsets are in mm, and to figure out rim width, multiply by 25.4)
