Are sportmax cheap rims?

Would some sportmax rims look bad on a G35?

I dont got 2,000$ to spend on rims, so yeah!

What do you guys think?

I'm going for this kind've look:

The price im getting is $850 (for rims)

Is this brand cheap ( as in, hell no this shouldn't be on a g35 get something better)?

:P

Thanks

yes they are cheap quality wheels. If you don't have a lot of money to spend, I would upgrade to OEM 19's rather than sportmax

I'm trying to get them to fit the tires I got on my G35 though. That's the key, the rims need to fit on the tires I got. I'll go get the tire sizes now.

225/45Z R18/W91

Maybe

How do you know which staggered size to get?

IE:

18x8 (front) with 18x9 (rear)
or

18x7.5(front) with 18x8.5(rear)

whts the difference? how does it affect the car

Cheap wheels are just that .... cheap

Save up a while and get a nice set of wheels ...

I went the cheap wheel way for a set of snow tires and I'm thankful i only have them on for 3 months!

Keep an eye on the classified section. If you are patient, you can find some pretty good deals on this forum. I just bought a set of 5 19" Enkei RPO3's with tires for 1000 dollars.

They would look decent, in 19's or 20's

...but why 18's unless you were going wider or as winter setups.

actually i would. i saw those rims before on ebay. I think the offset was for a sedan not a coupe. so it made me change my mind when considering rims.

To answer your question, yes Sportmax are cheap wheels. As in they didn't cost $5K. I have a set and I LOVE the way it looks. Instead of spending $5K on rims, I spent $1800 for 20s w/ tires, installed and TPS moved over, and spent the $5K on a bangin sound system.

**** the stock tires. Save a little more cash and move up to the 20s.

I could have been a wheel snob and opted for really expensive wheels but I liked the way it looked with these. Never mind the fact that hot young women LOVE it and compliment me on how it looks. It pisses my wife off to no end.

I have the same wheel design but with a red lip. Sorry, it's a night shot. I'll get off my lazy *** one day and take a day pic.
