SEDAN: Camber / Toe kits?
there are quite a few postings on camber kits for the G35, but none are sold specifically for the G35 sedan, that I can tell.
What are our options for the sedan, front and rear? Just got my crawford cats installed and I was a little shocked on the wear my eibach springs have caused within 3k miles.
took it to the shop, but they cannot adjust the camber enough. I need to get a kit and they did not have any answers for me (Goodyear / Gemini in rowland.)
If anybody has installed front and rear camber kits on their Sedan, please let me know... thanks, ted

Re: SEDAN: Camber / Toe kits?
I'm not sure which thread, but we dicussed this briefly. Apparently, Stillen makes a rear camber kit for 500 beans, and Kinetics makes one for 250. Both will fit the sedan, as the coupe and the sedan have identical geometry. Gsedan35 has the Kinetix and likes them. I trust his opinion. As far as the front, Nismo makes a very expensive adjustable control arm which is nicely designed. Kinetix also makes one that doesn't look so great. I think the Nismo one is in the area of $800. I checked coupe and sedan camber specs, and it seems that if you lower the vehicle to coupe height, you should get the same wear as a coupe, because our geometry is the same. (Not saying that coupe tire wear is good). Here are the specs:
Sedan F: -0.08
Sedan R: -.58
Coupe F: -.5
Coupe R: -1.5
'03.5 Silver AT Sedan, Premium, Aero Kit/Package, Sport, Winter, Stillen Air Box, Z pipe, Polk Tweeters, Clifford RSX 3.5, Gram Light 57F Pro's (on the way), Hotchkis sways

I'm curious, can you take a look at the alignment sheet from the dealer and tell me the before and after specs for front and rear camber and toe?

No, not the factory specs. Post the specs on YOUR car from before the alignment that was done and then after they were done where they couldn't get it to spec. Front and rear camber and toe.

I also found that my tires are wearing badly on the inside. I'm removing my Eibach springs and putting in Tein flex coilovers in their place (new stereo weighs 250#).I also wanted to put upper control arms on the front and the two sets of bars on the rear all from Kinetix. There site only indicates that the rears fit the G35 and the fronts fit the 350Z is there a differance. The tires are worst on the front so I have to do all 4 corners.

Gsedan35, to tell you the truth..I didn;t get the final printout from them. I'm heading back down their on Monday, so I'll check to see if they kept my numbers on file. I'll then post them up for review.

Re: SEDAN: Camber / Toe kits?
I just ordered the Kintex rear kit...I will keep everyone posted as to the results but for the $$ I don't think they can be beat. I have minimal inside wear on the rears, and next to no inside wear on the fronts. The Eibachs have been on for around 3500-4000 miles.
Re: SEDAN: Camber / Toe kits?
i have the 350Z suspension on my sedan and there is not real problem with the tread wearing super unevenly. but then again, its not really that low. i was going to put it on some RSR springs for another half inch drop, but that will totally screw my camber up.
i have a question though: do coilovers screw up the camber too? people who are constantly adjusting their coilovers up and down....dont they have to constantly have their camber adjusted too then? wanna get the tein flex with EDFC soon. sweeeet.

Re: SEDAN: Camber / Toe kits?
Those that already have the Kinetix, how easy do you think these would be to adjust for extra negative camber for race days? I've been eyeing these for months, but can never find anyone adjusting for extra negative camber.

Re: SEDAN: Camber / Toe kits?
Lead_Foot, speaking of which. What are you alignment specs right now? Front and rear camber and toe.
I have the Kinetix rear arms. Frankly for quick adjustment's, I'd recomment using the factory adjustment to dial in your extra negitive camber and reset it so the dot is pointing down when your done, using the Kinetix to save the shops work. The Kinetix are next to impossible to track how far your changing them, whereas the oem system, you just eyeball that dot on the cam bolt.

Re: SEDAN: Camber / Toe kits?
I've got my sheet somewhere at home from when I had it done a while back. I'll see if I can find it and post it. Thanks for the input. I'm looking at the 350evo front arms for adjustment in the front. Any one of you guys have these?
