I put the S Drive's on my car and have been very happy with them! I would highly recommend them to anyone in the market for new tires!

you should run a 245 and nothng more on an 8.5 inch wide wheel a 265 would be massive on that width and your handling would be worse because of sidewall flex due to the tire being oversize for the rim, wider tires arent always better!

thats wierd with some people they cant handle the noise but with others yhou cant even hear them. i just got them on and a new alignment, and i def hear my exhaust tone before any tire noise, i actually think they're quiter them the stocker

Why not purchase from a forum sponsor?
Don from TireOption will pretty much beat any Tirerack price.
Try him out ...

i dunno, both sets are noisy. i said the same thing you did. I have stillen headers and full catback, kinetix plenum and injen CAI, car sounds really good and at first i said, yeah i hear my car instead. but at cruising speed, the noise just became annoying and it sounds like i'm in a truck instead of a sedan.

[QUOTE=Jedunnigan]The only real complaint I've heard so far is the noise which I think I can live with.QUOTE]

That's what i said too at first, but after a while it just got to me. If i had to do it all over again, i would go with a different set of tires and my next set will a different kind.

You know, I rarely see anyone mention Toyo's. I was planning to buy some Proxes T1R's. Do most not like that tire? I had always thought Toyo made solid tires.

quite a few people have complained about the T1Rs, they would rather go back to T1Ss. i personally never had T1Rs but you can find the posts about them here.

i have them and liked them at first but they wear too fast, they are very noisy, and they have very weak sidewalls... i will say they are good in the rain though

Khumo SPTs. I haven't purchased them yet, but I'm probably getting them from the sponsor.
