Good year F1 opinions..

planning on buying some goodyear f1's

i just know know which
Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3
or
Goodyear Eagle F1 All Season

cheaper and mroe for me is the All Season.
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....=(Y)&minLoad=S

but ive read the gs-d3 are real good..

i live in NC..not too hot and i dont really care for hardcore "traction" as far as hardcore "racing"..i just want a all around great tire that also has good traction

opinions?

I had the gs-d3's on my integra - great tires - good wet traction too - but they don't last all that long due to the soft compound - i was impressed with everything but the tire life.

I love the GS-D3's, but next week I'm getting the new Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric.

It won Tire Rack's latest max performance summer tire comparison: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/...y.jsp?ttid=101

Supposedly they're almost as good as the GS-D3s in the wet, better in the dry, and with less road noise. The downside is that the tire sizes are rather limited and they're $$$.

DSG one of the best tires i have had. If u don't track the car then DSG3s are the way to go. The only problem i had with those tires is after 10 minutes of hard driving it lost its grip and the car was sliding around all over the place. I never saw that problem with Toyo t1rs and Bridgstone Re50s. Other than that, they are excellent tires.

Greeknasty, what size F1 All Seasons do you have on your G? I have been trying (with no luck so far) to find out what size to put on my '05 coupe....

I love the GS-D3. Been running them for a month or so. Quite possibly the best tire I've run in the rain. Dunlop SP9000 would be #2.
