Ok its time for some new pads on the brembos. I want something that gives off less brake dust. I've heard of some pads like the EBC ones but do they make those for the brembos? Basically what is everyone that has brembos switching to and how are the results? Thanx Guys

 

Not sure if they give off less brake dust but I have heard some mention on the forum somewhere of HAWK HPS brake pads for the brembos. Maybe something to look into...anyone know anymore about them? I am approaching the same situation as you soon and need to start looking. Let's hope you get some good posted replys.

Nice, time for a brake job. Ok is there anything I need to know about breaking in the brakes? I read on some site that the pads need time to "bed" at least 200 mi. So no hard stops for that time period I take it. I never heard about letting brakes set or anything so this is new to me.

As for the actual brake job my mechanic at work will take care of that but he usually works on big A$$ trucks so it there anything I should make sure he does that he may not think of. Not that he doesn't know what he's doing but is there any BREMBO specific things that I or he should know about
