Im not sure if Im the only one with this problem, but upon changing to my winter rims last november, It seemed the factory lug wrench with its attached socket was hitting the walls of where the lug holes are on the rims. It happens when you apply pressure to loosen the lugs. Theres not much space in there so a little off center and you will eat up the lug hole grove wall. Im not sure what to do to protect the socket, tape doesnt seem to me that it will protect much, you guys have any tricks or recommendations on what to do or use for future reference?

also im contemplating getting this tool, seems pretty cool.
