and what color painted lip would i do? and if i did that, what color face would look good with what color? i thought about a polished face and a black lip but the rim shop said it would take away from the car and be goofy bc the lip is meant to be chrome and staggered. so idk...i like the idea but might be unpractical on black

The lip is meant to be whatever finish you want, which is why they are custom wheels.

Then get what you want, as long as you are happy with the car, then thats all that matters

As stated before, everyone has their own opinions. I actually think chrome on an all black car looks amazing. If you're going to drop a ton of coin on some wheels, why not set the car off and make the wheels the centerpiece of the car? Plus they have a chrome lip anyways.... It's all a matter of preference, I am one of the few that thinks chrome can look good on a black sports car, as long as you don't get dollar signs in the middle of the wheels. Not meant to be bling-y, just set the car off right. Black on black is WAY played out IMO and go get a 300M if you want to join that club.

Stick with the polished or chrome, you seem to be happy with it anyways.

05GRide, couldnt have said it better myself. IMO, colored wheels look cheap and honda-ish. JUST MY OPINION. if your gonna get expensive multi-piece wheels, why not make it look and feel expensive, not like a spray painted ebay rim. i do make exceptions for most volk, work, hre, etc. wheel brands bc of the simple fact that they are made well and styled sophistically. but chrome wheels set off a black car. I may even get a brushed face to get an even balance of both worlds and show the different pieces of the wheel but idk. to each his own. i still like others opinions

Those are my old wheels, but they are silver centers with polished stepped lips

The rims I just got (and have yet to put on) are Work Varianza T1Ss and have a chrome lip with the machine polished face (basically chrome), I think it's called MPC finish. I plan on getting them on within the next two weeks and can send pics when I do so. I think they're going to look amazing.... and stepped lips are a looks thing... I personally don't like it, but some do!

As for the HKS... in all honesty, the thing you notice the most is the sound at WOT.... it's absolutely fantastic and I love the sound of the VQ engine at full throttle. The exhaust is cake to put on and looks great as well. In terms of a performance increase I figure I got ~20 to 25HP from the exhaust and intake setup at the flywheel. That's like 15HP to the ground (assuming standard 20% drivetrain decrease). You'll notice that 15HP in the mid to high RPM range. The car will definitely have some more *****, and you'll pick up on it. But really, you're paying the money for the sound

wow, i love the t1s'. i was thinking of getting them in WBC, or "black chrome" but i was told it takes 3 or 4 months to get. so idk. and now im considering sevas s22 or s55. idk. i got plans for everything but cant decide on the wheels.

QUESTION! - should i do wheels first, or do coilovers and then wheels? plz answer from experience guys. thanks again
