tires for oem 19 set up???

i have the oem 19's and the front factory tires are still good but the back ones are done. Now i want to replace the rear tires will 245/35r19 be fine in the rear or will that throw off the vdc? aslo how do the toyo proxes tr1 compare to the toyo proxes 4? How about the falken fk452? and sorry but one more question, wheres the best place to find a good deal on these tires? So far the cheapest i found the 452's for is 125 plus shipping, which i think is good but how about the toyos?

tried searching, didnt find all the answers.

thanks guys!

the 245/35 will be too short in the rear. Your front tires will be greater in overall diameter than the rears and that could mess with the VDC. You could always use 245/35's all the way around.

New Rubber....?

Since your car came with 245/40X19 I'd stick with that size if you're keeping
the OEM wheels, it's allright to run that size on the front too....better stability!

Along similar lines, Im finding that only certain sizes of fronts are inexpensive and available.

We're selling my wifes G and I wanted to put new front tires on it before selling. The rears are still the originals.

235/35/19s are plentiful and really inexpensive. Anyone see a problem running slightly under the OEM diameter like this on the front?

Wadd, whatever happened to the 235/35/19 tire purchase? Did you find out if these will work? I REALLY need to change my front tires. If I can do it tomorrow I will. I just need confirmation that this size will work. If so I'll get a set ASAP. I can't take driving on the noisy OEM 19 tires anymore.

And I hate the fact I can't flip them so the noisy part is on the outside and not on the inside

I bought 245/35/19s and they worked wonderfully. Rides nice and is also quite. I recommend the general UHPs from onlinetires.com

We just sold the car yesterday btw.

Most people run 245/35/19 for the fronts and 255/40/19 on the rear. No problems with VDC.

If I just replace the fronts for now at 245/35/19 should that be ok for now? I just got this car and the OEM front tire noise is killing me.

That's all I need and I can really begin to enjoy the car the way it was meant to be. Thanks guys

Ok, I went ahead and jumped in head first. Since discount tire in the chicagoland area only were able to get the nexen n3000 tires vs the Kumhos in time for my appointment, I went with those yesterday.

First impressions, mmm they're ok. Average at best but my braking is taking a tad bit longer to stop and I've seen a small bit of acceleration loss due to traction I guess.

I want to have discount tire remove them and swap them out for Falkens.

I was also told I can go with 275 in the rear but they didn't say the rest of the size.

Could they fit be 275/40/19 safely on the back wheels? Would that size be a problem for me since I'm running 245/35/19 up front? Thanks in advance guys

Beebo, whats the biggest safe size for the rear? The same guy at the discount tire out here said he'd like to fit 265/30/19 on the rear. On Friday the other guy there said I can do 275 on the back all these #s are starting to get confusing lol

I saw them on tirerack this morning. Casey, how do these compare with the stock tires? And what size did you get?
