What are your guys thoughts on lambo doors? I saw it on a mustang the other day and thought it would look sweet as hell on our cars. There is a company that says they will make a kit for our car if they get atleast 10 people in for it.

I think it's a fad with a very short shelf life.

Case in point; I saw a Civic with Lambo doors...

and i think Vertical Door Inc has the G35 Coupe Lambo door style made already (saw it on a Veilside G35 Coupe at the Japanese Auto Salon) and i am sure they will be advertising them soon enuff

in MY opinion, cars that are meant to have lambo doors already come like that from the factory.
if the quality was like the actual lambo or enzo, i'd think of getting one.

It's rice because you think of trying to put on those type of doors on a car that is not exotic enough to come with them.

GR8T, I normally agree with your points, but I am going with the masses on this one. That car (Mercedes) is well over 100K and deserves the job done right. The G35 lambo kit requires you to open the door normal first, then swing them up...it is mighty ricey.

I guess we know who didn't use his brain before he talks now. Mixed, so far we have 3 likes the lambo door while 7 others said it's rice. I don't mind you getting it though, becuz those lambo door on any under 80k cars always become my laugh of the day.

And i am not saying those exotic cars that come with lambo rice, i am talking about those ricers who does not have enough money to afford a lambo or SLR, but still want to immitate them with a much cheaper cars are rice. And those lambo wannabes like you are ricers.

I agree that lambo doors on an exotic are just that....exotic.
On the Benz or a Lamborghini....its nice, not rice.... it's designed that way from the factory.....

Is it practical? A whole another story....would I do it to my car? Probably not...[img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]......but if someone has the time and money to do it to their car.....who am I to judge?
