Re: tire pressure monitor light
Always best to check pressures after picking up the ride. Mistakes can happen, and oftentimes do.

Re: tire pressure monitor light
hey cynical
i had the exact same problem. my dumb salesperson told me that it was because of the cold air. he said it was because the tire gets compressed or something and that it would get better after couple days. the light stayed on, so i had to take it back to the dealer and they recallibrated the sensors or something. i dont even know what they did with it. good luck

my car beeped at me!
i was driving my car around, and then all of a sudden out of nowhere, there was a loud beeeeeeeeeeeeep sound coming from my dashboard. stopped, then started again, and repeated once more. there weren't any visual warnings. the only thing that shows up on the dashboard was the tire pressure monitor light, but that has been on for the past couple days without a beep. then out of nowhere today it beeped. could anyone know the reason why? my manual is in the car which is in the garage of my apt building and too far to go for it. =P

Re: my car beeped at me!
I think the light comes when the pressure drops to a certain level, then the beeper goes off either when it drops to an even lower level, or a given time passes before filling the tire with air.

Re: my car beeped at me!
Mine just did it this morning, but beeped and showed the (!) visual. Have you checked the tire pressure and if so, did it go away?Seems odd, but I just changed out the stock air filter and placed in a K&N and did a alteration to the air filter box, know this couldn't be the culprit, but who knows?

Re: tire pressure monitor light
Mine was going off when the pressure dropped below 35psi. I had a flat, had it fixed, they refilled it to 33psi. I called the dealer to schedule a reset to the system. The service manager said there is no reset, just make sure the pressure is above 35psi on all fours. Filled the left rear to 46psi, the light went off 2 min later.
