OKAY, so after all this male bashing ... a woman would like to ask the question of what's is the most popular rim brand? I'm shopping for wheels and tires this summer, but don't know what to shop for. I was ideally looking at the PIAA Super Rossa (20's) and got a quote for that including Falken with these specs (Falken FK452 series and you would have 245/35/R20 in the front and 275/35/R20), the wheel specs (staggered fitment. The sizing would be 20"x9" in the front and 20"x10.5" in the back). For a woman, this is all jiberrish to me, and I'm looking at about $4K. Good deal (YES/NO)? Opinions? Then while in this string, I've heard comments on BBS, Enkei, etc and then about the weights on the rims, what the heck (so particular). So anyhow, more comments on this thread would be appreciated.

Lets go ahead and break this argument down to show how little you actually have proven.

I posted prices I directly from tirerack that directly refutes your argument, does it not? Are you saying those aren't the prices they are selling their tires for? I don't understand your argument here.
In addition, you posted this
Kumho Ecsta Spt
245/35/20- 106
275/30/20- 184
285/35/19- 184

255/35/19- 159
If 19" tires cost "way more" than 20" tires, why does the narrower 275/30/20 cost THE SAME as the wider 285/35/19? Doesn't your own statement prove you wrong?

This statement shows how little you actually know. Why don't you run your tires sizes through a tire size calculator and then come back and see if that statement is true. Are you really trying to state that a 255/35/19 and 245/35/20 are both the recommended sizes for a front tire when they differ in diameter by 3/4"? That just doesn't make any sense...Especially when the stock tire diameter for a sedan(depending on year/model) is 26.32"

Once again your prices have just shown the opposite actually, just because YOUR prices might show this trend, it certainly isn't true across the board which in itself has proven your statement false.

Dude im giving up I can teach about tires but not to read. Yes two of the prices are the same in the 19inch and 20inch but the others differ by $50 bucks. I can't help your spoiled and 50 bucks doesn't mean to much to you, and like i said if you want the other aspects i can give them to you. And when I say recommended that is for the 20inch tire which will work with a 275/30/20 275/35/20 or 285/30/20 depending on how you want it to look. Now like i said before pick an argument on something you know stuff about and i would be glad to continue to make you feel like an idiot. And for the young lady asking about the wheels, you should inquire him about the 10.5 on the rear that is really pushing it i would go 8.5 front 9.5 or 10 inch in the rear

And REDLUDE Im done arguing with you, all of the sponsors and staff i have met were very nice and helpful and very knowledgeable, you on the other hand are asinine all you look at is what you are "right about" look at the front tires big dif in price, not just what you want to see because everyone can see this also, or you can keep living in your own little world and be totally oblivious to facts

And what i am saying about tire rack is no thats not what they get them for, do you think they would sell their tires at cost????? wouldn't make since would it because then they wouldn't make profit, and therefor would be a charity not a business. Just as we can they mark them up according, I can all but promise you that they get their 20 inch tires cheaper than the 19s, I wont promise because im not them I dont know for a fact, but going by what i have been doing for 5-6 years I am pretty dang sure
