I have been reading many posts about 19's, and I am still very confused as to what I should get. I am planning on getting work vsxx's 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 and dropping it on s techs on my 06 bs coupe. I have no clue what the third number means though that all of you seem to include when posting wheel sizes. I really want to do this right the first time and all of you seem to have a lot of knowledge about the subject so I would really like to hear your opinions. Also, if you have any other recommendations please tell me. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

Why don't you go 9.5/10.5? or 10/11? That would be doing it right the first time. If you are stuck on those sizes, I would aim for 19x8.5+(2-5) and 19x9.5+(0-5)

 

Ok thank you! Hmm but I am still confused on what that third number is. what does it mean when people go "19x9.5 +some number"? and what do the numbers that you just posted mean?(2-5 &0-5) Thank you for the very quick reply.
