anyone spray painted their stock 18s?

did anyone spray paint there 18s before? if so..can u post some pictures? im thinkin of painting mines black..just to look alitle different..but i cant find any pictures...thanks guys...i see pics of people paintin there stock 19s and leavin the lip polish..but i cant find any pictures of painted 18s

yes sanded...primed...and painted with no clear by me...

I actually spray painted mine Ivory Pearl. The paint alone cost me couple of hundred dollars and it's really hard getting the right amount of pearl on but black, silver or any other color should be a smooth job. Make sure the temperature is between 60 and 80 and humidity is below 50% and find the video on youtube on how to spray paint the wheel and you should do fine. Rubbing compound I got from paintscratch.com really improves the shine of the clearcoat. Good luck.
