is my tire still safe? pics

trying to avoid bottoming out in a steep driveway entrance i came in at an angle, lets just say i miscalculated my angle of attack and my back passenger wheel hopped up the curb.

a small chunk of rubber came off as well as my rim itself getting damaged. my biggest concern is the integrity of the tire itself.

im pretty sure the tire is still perfectly safe but would like second opinions:

i don't see any damage past your normal rubber scuffing. the tire looks perfectly fine and safe.

Is his tire safe....maybe?

I don't know guys, I see a chunk out of his sidewall and it's more than a
surface scratch. To be confident I'd ask a knowledgeable tire shop there
opinion, since they can see more than what it shows in the pic....caution
on the side of safety!

There is a chunk missing but it looks like it's only the rim guard (which obviously didn't work...)
