Falken 452 & VDC

Just mounted 2 new Falken 452 255/40/19 tires in the rear, prob have 60-70 miles on them. On my way home from work there is a nice sweeping turn coming off of the highway that is fun. So today I wanted to see how the new tires felt and quickly in the corner the VDC light came on. Any ideas?
Sure hope this is not permanent.

I would solve my problem by following this process:
(1) Turn VDC OFF

End of process

What are your front tire sizes and brand and how old are they?

Meh. . .again with the "why does my VDC light come on in long sweeping corners?" Is your brake fluid low? If it sloshes and goes below the acceptable minimum, VDC will flash and then stay on. Did you skid at all, triggering the VDC to come on?

I know exactly what you mean..I get the same thing too.
Everytime I'm entering the freeway on a downward curve...my left front wheel kicks VDC in..and it actually makes my front end swerve over..it's a bit hard to describe. tires are 90%..fluid is fine...it just gets annoying having to turn VDC off everytime I want to do some spirited driving.

vdc is not design with performance in mind, it maximizes the safety.

I agree..but it shouldn't kick in when there's no wheel slip.

mine is pretty sensitive and i have falkens all around... maybe b/c i've been to the track a few times and know how much skid is acceptable (in terms of my driving). just turn your VDC off... hopefully you're not driving around "spirited" all the time
