Hey Guys ( and gals),
I have searched for days and I still haven't found a perfect answer.
I have an 05 Coupe, with stock 19" rims. (20 & 25 mm spacers)
I need replacement tires and I am favoring the Falken 452's.
My problem is sizing, because I don't want the tire light coming on.
This is what I have come up with:
Front : 245 / 35 / 19
Rear : 255 / 40 / 19 or 245??
Using the tire calculators this seems to be the best size, but you guys are the experts.
Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Scott

If you're really that concerned with VDC, why don't you just run the OEM specs for the wheels? 225/40/19 F and 245/40/19 R

I would love to, but a lot of the tires I like don't come in those sizes.
I like the BFG's and the Falken's and either of them come in the OEM sizing.

You're right... I see that the FK452's come in 225/35/19 but not 40...Originally Posted by WildWheeler

having the same problem buddy, can't decide on the falken 452's w/245/35/19 and 255/40/19 OR
Kumhos in stock sizes.
Positive for kumho is that the size remains the same, but supposedly has less performance
Positive for falkens - better performance, but potential for wrong speedometor readings plus thinner sidewalls = bad for potholes?
let me know what you decide!!!
