Treadwear on Toyo Proxes T1R

For anyone who has this tire how long do you estimate you would get in tread life on average?

i got bad treadwear lifetime on my car. The dry grip seems to be much less than the OEM bridgestones that came on my car because the tires seem to break loose easier. The treadwear rating is higher then the OEM tires but it seems like since they break loose easier, the back tires wear almost just as quickly while the fronts seem to wear better. In my experience, i'll probably end up getting 2 back tire lifetimes out of the front tires

Fronts about 16-18K, rears about 10-12K. Manufacturers devise their own means of rating treadwear, there is no universal standard, so don't let that factor into your purchase decision too much. Look for reviews of the tires in actual everyday driving and wear and tear.

I wore out my Toyos pretty fast, I have been using Falken FK452's ever since and they are better in every way.

Manufacturers actually run tires for ONLY 4,000 miles on a test track and streets in and around San Angelo, Texas then extrapolate the the tread wear index from what they find.

Unfortunately they can assume the tires wear linearly or actually wear less as miles build.

The test is very mild as to stopping and aceleration so any aggressive driving will wear much worse than a grandma driver used in test.

Some companies are rigorously HONEST like MICHELIN and many are much less so.
