i was going with a chrome on chrome setup from iforged. i would have been the first to go chrome lips as well as chrome centers. iforged has not tried this before on the G35 coupe so i decided why not and be the first and hope all works out. i just got the word that many have called and asked about this same setup and some have even ordered it. so with that being done i've decided to go ahead and let all know what i have ordered. because once they get here some will say i ordered the same wheel or was thinking of doing so. no biggie we can all look so fresh and so clean. i just finished talking to vince and he told me that my centers and lips have returned from the chrome shop and they will be putting them together tomorrow and next week they should be able to ship. i order 20" SWIFT'S with chrome everything. because iforged really doesn't advertise all chrome i was hoping that this would be something new that they could start doing with their wheels. now they have done chrome centers but not lips. oh well i guess they should be here and on the car in 2 weeks 3 max if all goes well. happy order for everyone else. vince said that he may email me some pics of how they look since they are back from the chrome shop.

 

You got me there dawg, I thought you were going with a custom white coated center with polished lip.

Its funny because, I saw a white 745i Hamann kit with 20inch white wheels, and polished lip; I must admit it looked very nice - and I immediately thought about your new project and said to myself that was what you were planning on doing to your car. But, I guess I was wrong; it would be nice to see a G35 cpe with type of set up though. White G35 with white wheels & polished lip, Blue G35 with blue wheels & polished lip, etc.

man the white on white set up was thought about but, the cleaning would be way too much. can you image the brake dust getting the wheels dirt before i left the hood? nope i couldn't do it.

 

do you know the weight on these wheels, are they gonna be alot heavier than the polished

 

they shouldn't be too much. i'll find out when they get here. but don't worry about that because i am thinking of going FI anyway.

so how much did the rims cost you? i was thinking about gettin the iforged swift's too but in high polished.
