I just got my G last Fri. and it came with winter tires on it. I'm in need of some new summer tires. Not sure if I should go with the Cooper Zeon 2XS or the Bridgesotne Potenza RE960 AS. The Coopers are a little cheaper and sound like a decent tire, but the Potenzas come with a 40K waranty. Anyone had either or both of these tires? Which one's would you suggest I go with? Any information you have would be helpful. Also, 80% of my driving is on the highway and I have a '04 6MT with 18" rims.

 

Go with the Bridgestones over the Coopers. Bridgestone makes a good tire (although some of the cheap OEM ones arent too great). Nitto makes a real good high performance tire too if thats something else you want to look into

 

Thanks for the reply. As far as performance, I don't need anything really high performance. I just want a tire that has good wet and dry traction and will last a while.
