Tire Sizing Question (Sedan)

For the past couple of years I have been running a small sidewall (30’s) on my 19" wheels. I am tired of the rough ride and was wondering about the following setup 245/40/19 front and 275/35/19 rear. I know the commonly used tires for the 8.5/9.5 stagger on the sedan is a 245/35f and 275/30r. I just would like a little more sidewall. Will this adversely affect my handling or ride? I have done a test fit with this combo and I know it will clear without scrubbing with my rolled fenders. What do you all think?

Actually the 245/40 275/35 setup is the ideal one that gets you the closest to the overall diameter of the OEM setup. If you use the wheel/tire calculator you'll see that this setup is the optimal, but most people do run 245/35 275/30 as that is a more common tire size from most manufacturers. I currently run 245/40 275/35 on my sedan. i'm lowered so i don't think it makes that much of a difference in ride quality.

^ What ar you lowered on? I have had the sedan H tech for three years H-techs. I just put them on and like the way they are filling the fender well gap. I wish it had not raised the over all hieght of the car. I may have to go with another drop. The ride is much better than with the 235/35 and 265/30 setup I was running. The handeling does not feel as tight as before though. I guess that is just the larger sidewall flex. It could all just be in my head. I will find out at ZdayZ.

My slip light keeps coming on under normal driving conditions when I enter corners. I think I am going to try and run a 245/35 front and see it will stop it. The car is handeling like sh*t right now.

I think a tire pressure sensor may have benn damaged while changing the tires. My low air light is on. Would this cause the slip issue?
