clearing the brembos
clearing the brembos
I have spoken to many wheel shops and online stores about aftermarket wheels and no one can ever tell me if the wheels will clear my brembos. Is there a specification I need to look for? How can I be sure? Thanks.
Re: clearing the brembos
What wheels are you talking about ?
Some wheel manufacturers provide the wheel dealers with booklets with info on whether certain models of their wheels in certain sizes will fit what car models, so they should be able to look it up or call the wheel distributors for information. At least that's my experience with the wheel dealers.
FYI, G35 coupe 6MT stock wheel bolt pattern is 5x114.3, offset is 30mm.

Re: clearing the brembos
becareful on what offset your get i have a 30mm offset in the rear and i never seen something so close there not even 1mm of space i may be able to slide a peice of paper through if im luck, order your wheel from one of the sponser on this site they will get you the correct offset
Re: clearing the brembos
i wish those Torque 5's came in a wider size...they looked good to me. As I recall, weren't the offsets like 38mm? You'll probably need a spacer to clear the stock Brembos.
