Not a big fan of gunmetal on black. I would leave them or do black chrome.

 

I would love to have a nice set of I-forged like you TTrank. Those are my favorite wheels for the G along with the cheaper version R1 Hypes... Cant afford either but thats the only way i would go Chrome/Silver/Alloy color. I just want a different look for the cars 19's and since i am blacking everything out it should be a nice variance.

My wife said that the black gloss was RICER! Man, coming from a girl thats bad. I think i will be going Gunmetal tomorrow! Not to bash on the black gloss painted guys in no way, just my wifes opinion. I mean i was even considering it. I disagreed with the RICER comment she made but i have grown into Gunmetal. Thanks for the support guys, and keep on coming. Still got some more time!

 

Ok guys i just started today and i begun with the center caps. I been taking pics of the process to post up another DIY if you guys want me to ^_^. Ill keep you guys updated and BTW i went graphite/gunmetal. Thanks for the support guys.

 

Ok guys i need some help. I was experimenting yesterday with my centercaps and i ran into some problems today. I want the centercaps to be the color of the wheels minus the center Fuji emblem, i want that to remain chrome. I tried to tape it off and paint the whole thing and it didnt work. This morning after 2 coats of primer, 4 coats paint and 3 clear i removed the tape and the edges came off where the tpae contacted and its just a mess. Is there any other way you guys rec i do this? Anything would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
