Is Axis wheel forged or cast?
Anyone know if Axis wheel is forged or cast? What about ADR,TSW & Konig?

I found the anwser to myself its CAST. But this just raise another question doesn't it mean its steel instead of alumium?

i think there are 3 types of se7ens... the first se7en was out a few years back and was of 1 piece Al cast design. The second was the 3-piece forged se7en, alex chen (owner) had on his porsche and ferrari. it is built to order if i understand. the last is the se7en MOD 1 piece Al cast design which replaces the first 1 piece se7en with a 'lip modification'.

The Axis Milano's are cast, but they can take A LOT of abuse. Pretty strong wheel, I think its the best wheel for the money. Beats ADR and Konig for the quality.

Cast is also alluminum, it's just not top quality alluminum. Forged alluminum is much stronger and lighter. A few companies that use forged alluminum are HRE, BOZE, and VOLK.

The 3 piece Se7en is 3 time more then the Se7enMod. Around $1200 each. But then again its custom made for each application.

so the 3 piece se7ens are as much as the HRE's or Volks? r u seroius. nevermind then.
