Resprayed my stock 18" Gold

Just resprayed my stock 18" gold. It was a DIY job. 2 cans of primer, 3 cans of gold and 3 cans of clear.

Looks like you got some overspray on the barrels. Not a big deal since they'll be covered by the tire. It just shows how much attention to detail you give to your work.

Not bad overall. How do they look mounted?

It may be the poor lighting conditions, but the paint looks uneven. As Damon pointed out, it appears there is some overspray...inside the barrels, too.

Then again, it could be the quality of the pictures and lighting arrangement.

Let's see them mounted.

I purposely did the overspray so that I cover all the sides with paint. I know it can't be seen once the tire is mounted.

It is a bit uneven though due to the metallic clear paint that I used. Before putting on the clear it was even. Nevermind... was still quite satisfied with this DIY job. Only cost me under USD30 including all the paint and sand paper.

It's a silver G... actually here it's a V... V35 to be exact.

I'll post some picture once it's on.
Hopefully the tire shop does not chip the new paint when they mount the tires.

I used several brands. Can't remember the names. Got them from ACE hardware.

I am currently using these rims. They are also 18" with 8" front and 9" rear. Using 1" spacers on all 4 tires.
