Will these look wierd?

I am thinking of getting a set of Axis Matrix wheels 19x8 front and 19x9.5 rear. The offsets are 35mm front and 40mm rear. Will they fit on my car or will they stick out and look ghetto? I have a coupe and I'm lowered 1.1f/1.0r with H&R Sports and Tokiko D-Spec shocks. Thanks for any input.

DO NOT GET THOSE.
Unless you will be happy with low quality rims with small widths and HORRIBLY TUCKED offsets... With wheels you CANNOT settle, get what you want in the first place and go big like Volk, Work, SSR, or another quality brand.

Axis isn't the best brand reputation wise around here and from your choice I assume you're looking for low price/nice look so there are some things to note. They're cast and more likely to crack than many quality wheels. If you have great streets, might be just fine for you. They're also heavy, if that's of any note.

The offsets will give you a tucked look more like stock and you'll probably want to get some hubcentric spacers like those made by H&R to get the aggressive look you're aiming for. Lot's of threads on Axis for you to peruse. Then you'll know if it's the right wheel for you. Lotta haters out there, but it's your ride. Make it how you want it. I've run cast and forged, had some good and bad luck with both.

It will look odd in those offsets. I think that style would not look good either but its all personal taste.

Wow. I was under the impression that Axis is a good wheel, but I guess not. Anything out there that's good and not too expensive. I really dont want to put too much money in the car.

There's nothing wrong with Axis wheels. I was very close to purchasing either the Matrix or Penta wheels.

But the fitment on those wheels is going to be horrible on our cars.

What else is there that is good and affordable....if that combination does exist. Also, anyone know of any places in the Chicagoland area that sells wheels.

have you ever seen a mustang around late 90s. and they have after market wheels on them? and do you ever remember seeing how far in the wheels stick in ? thats about how they will look.

if you do decide on those wheels maybe concider some spacers 15-20m project kics (hard to find sometimes) or go with nismo extended lugs and H&R spacers combo.

good luck

Axis and Sevas are nice wheels that don't cost a fortune.
