HKS Hypermax vs. II?
What is the diff. between the HKS Hypermax Ls coilovers vs. the Hypermax II. If I buy these will I need any adjustable camber or tow-in parts? I do not want to spend $1800.00 on coilovers plus another $800.00 for all the crap to get the car aligned. My car is an 04 coupe with 20" Maidos.

Re: HKS Hypermax vs. II?
Three things to know about the LS system. One, it's designed to offer up a like stock ride quality. It is not designed to impress the performance minded. Second, it shift's the spring rate balance of the car to the front, so a car with them will understeer more should you be inclinded to push it to the limit's. Spring rates front 448lbs rear 336lbs ='s F+43% R -2% Transfer's 45% roll stiffness to the front! Secondly, the dampners cannot be adjusted, but the LS+ version does have that.
The Hypermax II are sprung and valved for performance street, with 504lbs spring rates front and rear. The front to rear balance is also a lot better, F+60% R+47% ='s transfer of 13% roll stiffness to the front, but difference to the LS which transfers 45% to the front.
If in the market for a comfort type coilover, I'd pick the Tein CS before I'd go with the LS.
