Removing scratches from Volk's polish lip.

I'm beganning to see some scratches on the lip of my Volk GT-S after having them on for less then 5 months. Is there a product that I can use to buff out these fine scratches without harming the polish lip?

I have one unrelated question. I've just put on my new center cap that came in today. It seems like I just had to pop it in to secure it, is that basically it? It didn't come with instruction so I wasn't sure. I'm just afraid that thiefs can just pop it out if I didn't put it on correctly.

nope, the lips are anodized, and the only way to polish them is to strip the anodizing and polishing the bare metal
