Rotors!

Rotors!
It's time for me to get new rotors. I was driving hard on some twisties and my rotors got soo hot that the brakes barely worked anymore. I'm guessing it's the rotors, I have EBC Greenstuff pads with alot left on them. Here is what I was thinking.

These look AWESOME! I love the drilled look with the wheel. Thing is, I hear the slotted ones are better for heat and performance, so I was looking at these.

Now I hear these are better for more intense heat and braking but they don't look as cool as the drilled one.
Now my question, I hear they make rotors that are slotted and drilled. Are these better than just the slotted one? Does anyone know where I can get rotors that are slotted and drilled that fit the G35 6MT coupe (you know with brembos) that will be good and not warp under intense heat? Any info would be AMAZING! Re: Rotors!
i agree the drilled ones look better, but according to brembo

Drilled rotors are not warranted against warping or cracking.

i don't like the sound of that. What is the warranty on the Stillen ones? (i have heard they are brembo blanks that are drilled/slotted by stillen)
Whichever you get you should do another how to on the install...last one was pimpin!

Re: Rotors!
Slotted rotors are better. Drilled rotors do not handle heat cycling as well. If you are using them only for street, then you should be ok. Any track use with drilled rotors is not recommended. The drilling process creates weak points on the rotor and make it much more prone to cracking.

Re: Rotors!
Yea I also notice after hard 100 MPH runs 2-3 times or through turns and braking hard the stock rotors get so hot that the brakes start shaking... Its some scary stuff going fast and I need new rotors also. As everyone else said, drilled looks the best and prob has way more braking capability over stock but can crack, for street use I dont think so. But slotted are the best. iLLG
