Is there anyway to buy a conversion kit or to convert this to the 2003 model? I would like to have this, but yet have found a solid answer. Thanks in advance everyone!

I don't beleive that the Tire Pressure Monitoring System would be of any use to you, because you have upgraded your wheels to 20" Iforged Rims - Flux. They only work when you have the stock rims installed on the car.

I read on the 350zx site that several of them are installing the tire pressure monitors on their aftermarket wheels and they work perfectly. It appears they can be re-installed on some wheels. I will see if that can be done with my iForged wheels when they arrive. If not...oh well.

I sent an e-mail to my Infiniti service advisor asking if it's possible and the cost. We'll see what they say.

I think Tire Rack sells them, or Crutchfield.....one of them does anyway, I get so many catalogs I can't keep track.

TireRack sells an aftermarket tire pressure monitoring system that would probably be more economical than retrofitting Infiniti's system onto your car, as well as providing more information (such as current psi for each of the 4 tires, instead of just a warning light).

 

Someone at RevHigh told me the sensor is in the valve stem and could be easily installed in new wheels...

The tire pressure sensors would not fit into the valve stems of most aftermarket wheels(there are some exceptions of course), but can be band to the wheels with straps to make it work.

O I C. I was asking RevHigh about the Volk GT-Cs. Maybe those are one of the exceptions. I'm sure they wouldn't tell me that knowing it to be false... Sheesh! I sure hope not!
