some tire questions????

Okay, I am new to these cars and my brother is picking one up at the end of this week. It is a black 2004 g35 coupe six speed manual with brembo brakes with 29,000 miles on it. It has the 18" 7 spoke wheels.

Now, I searched on here for some answers but there seems to be alot of different tires sizes/wheel sizes to sort through.

This car has 225's on the front and 245's on the back. Are all four wheels on this car identical or are the fronts narrower or do they have a different offset to constitute the narrower tires?

If they are all the same size wheels and offsets, can you put identical tires all the way around or should a guy stick to stock sizes?

I read on here some guys put 245/40/18 on the front and 245/45/18 on the rear? Is that a good combo or can you just go all the same all around?

Thanks for your help in advance. We know nothing about these cars yet but we will be learning more once we start driving it. It seems like an awesome car so I hope my brother likes it.

all four wheels are the same... the tires are staggered... yes you can run identical tires on all four wheels...
